Linda Cummings

Mrs. Linda Joyce Cummings, age 74 of Milan, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Diversicare Martin Health Care & Rehab. Graveside services for Mrs. Cummings will be conducted on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00pm at Poplar Grove Cemetery with Bro. Daryl Marcle officiating. Interment will follow immediately. She was born November 13, 1942 in Frog Jump, TN; the daughter of the late Lish and Rosie R. (Rush) Johnson. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two children, Teresa Farley (Kenneth), and Paula Balentine (Stacey); siblings, June Hutchinson, Frances Miller, Ruth Bevins, Clayburn Johnson, and Larry Johnson; one grandchild, Chasidy Taylor (Robert); and two great grandchildren, Riley Fitzgerald, and Tinley Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Cummings; siblings, Mae McCarthy, Shellie Tilghman, Pauline Beard, Louie Hicks, Clifton Johnson, Imogine Sawyers, and Lillian Howard. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
