Lee Ayers

Mr. Lee Ayers, age 85 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Trenton Living Center. Graveside services for Mr. Ayers will be conducted on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Dyer with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. He was born October 31, 1929, in Trenton, Tennessee; the son of the late Jasper and Flora Hawks Ayers. He was farmer and of Baptist faith. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer McCaig; two grandchildren, Dylan McCaig and Matt McCaig; one niece, Brenda Pollard and one nephew, Paul Ayers. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Johnny Ayers and his sister, Ruth Cooper. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Lee Henry Ayers.
