Ladye Walker

Mrs. Ladye Ruth Tilgham Greene Walker, age 90, quietly slipped away to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home with her family around her. Funeral service for Mrs. Walker will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford, Bro. Max Walker will officiate, and Burial will be in the Bethpage Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Walker was born on November 26, 1924 to the late Clark and Willie Mai Headden Tilghman, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, James "Red" Greene, second husband, Thomas Walker, and one son, James Clark "Jimmy " Greene. Mrs. Walker was a loving mother, and a retired bookkeeper for the Rutherford State Bank, and a Baptist. Mrs. Walker is survived by two daughters, Donna Counce and husband, John, and Carol Dennis and husband, Barry, one step son, Max Walker and wife Ann and family, four grandchildren, Cody Dennis, Weston Counce, Katelyn Dennis, Shelby Moore.
