Ladye Marion Tosh

Mrs. Ladye Marion Tosh, age 92 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, August 22, 2022, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Tosh will be conducted on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Salem United Methodist Church with Bro. John Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

She was born November 28, 1929, in Greenfield, TN; the daughter of the late John & Dovie Allen Mathis.  Before Mrs. Tosh’s retirement, she sat with the elderly, and prior to that, she was a former factory worker.

She is survived by two children, Martha Petty of Dresden, Wayne Tosh (JoAnn) of Rutherford; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon John Tosh; siblings, Raymond Mathis, Norman Mathis, Alma Scott, Beatrice Roberts, Sylvia Davis, Virginia Badagliacco; one grandson; and son-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 5:30pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, in the chapel of Salem United Methodist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ladye Marion Tosh.
