Kenny Reese

Kenny “Big John” Reese, 61 of Rutherford, TN passed away at his home Sunday, September 27, 2020 after a lifetime battle of heart ailments.

He lived his dream of owning his own truck and hauling cattle.  Although he had been disabled for a long time, he wanted to lend a hand to anyone in need.  Many friends knew him as “Big John” and “Kenny Bubba”.  He never met a stranger and if you knew him, you would not soon forget him, and if you did not- you missed a joy!  He had a pure heart of gold and was a one of a kind and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Andrea Wiley Reese; mother, Nancy Reese; brothers, Kim & Keith Reese; niece, Mandy Blackburn (Justin); nephews, Blake, Chad, Brandon and Bradley Reese; two great nieces;  four great nephews; his furry family, and dear longtime friend “Sugarjack” Green.  He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wright Reese; and grandparents, The Reese’s and The McEwen’s.

A special thank you to his cardiologist, of 30 plus years, Dr. Joseph D. Blankenship, and his girls for their cardio services.  Home health nurse, Deana Wyrick, and most of all, God.  Without their constant care, his time on earth would have been much shorter.

You have patiently awaited your heavenly home, now rest in pain-free peace.

Cremation services are in order and a family memorial will be held at a later date in October.
