Kenneth Edward Garrett

Kenneth Edward Garrett, age 66 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Integrity Healthcare of Marion. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Garrett will be conducted on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 3PM in the chapel of Union Grove Methodist Church with Bro. James ‘Bo’ McEwen and Ronnie Merryman officiating.

He was born March 8, 1957, in Obion County, TN; the son of the late Charles Edward Garrett, and Norma Jean Garrett Needham. He was an Iron Worker with the Union Local #1 in Chicago and member of Union Grove Methodist Church. He served his country with the US Army.

He is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Garrett Needham; three daughters, Tiffani Leann Timonen (Phil), Frankie Lynn Hargis, Stephanie Jo Garrett; two sisters, Kathy Hale, Janice Dickey (Charlie Fred); eight grandchildren, Scott Garrett, Jordan Mitchell, Matt Garrett, Kobe Mitchell, Abigail Turner, Aleesha Hargis, Gabriel Hargis, Logan Hargis; and one great-granddaughter, Kenna Marie Glover. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Garrett.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made in honor of Kenneth to St. Jude, or the National Arbor Day Foundation.

The family will receive friends from 1PM-3PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Union Grove Methodist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Kenneth Edward Garrett.
