Judith Ann Mcalpin

Judith Ann McAlpin, age 74 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, August 12, 2019, at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. McAlpin will be conducted on Thursday, August 15 at 2:00 PM in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mickey Hanks officiating. 

She was born September 17, 1944 in Union City, TN; daughter of the late I.R. "Peck" Johnson and the late Vida Demetra (Dodd) Johnson. She was a retired cook at the Kenton Dairy Bar, and was a member of New Concord Baptist Church.

She is survived by two children, Mary Beth Armour (Mike), Samantha Green (Russ); one sister, Jane McCurdy (Johnny); and five grandchildren, Josh Hairston, James Riley, Raven Green, Shelley and Bryce Simpson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dale McAlpin; son, Mike Gardner; brother, Charles Ray Johnson; and her parents.

Visitation with the family of Judith Ann McAlpin will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Kenton Chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Judith Ann McAlpin.
