Johnie Pruett

Mr. Johnie Carman Pruett, age 82, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on April 28, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. Pruett will be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Paul Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer, Tennessee. Johnie Pruett was born May 8, 1932, in Bloomfield, Missouri; the son to the late Johnie William and Mary Osborn Pruett. Mr. Pruett retired from the shipping department at Goodyear Tire Company. He also served his country with the US Army. Mr. Pruett is survived by his spouse, Alice Faye Burk Pruett; daughter, Linda Pollard; sons, Stephen Pruett and Gary Pruett and wife Bonita Kay; granddaughter, Shauna Hardie; and great-grandchild, Daniel Carter Hardie. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 1. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is especially honored to serve the family of US Army veteran Johnie Carman Pruett.
