John Bernard Blake

John Bernard Blake, age 82 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday,  August 28, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mr. Blake will be conducted on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at New Bethlehem Cemetery with Bro. John Coleman officiating.

He was born June 24, 1939, in Cowan, West Virginia; the son of the late Vayden and Ruth Tenney Blake. He was a supervisor at Brown Shoe Company before retiring. He proudly served his country with the US Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife Melba Blake; two children, Christy Coffman (Mark) and Randy Blake; and one grandchild, Jake Coffman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the Dyer chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to New Bethlehem Baptist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of John Bernard Blake.
