Mrs. Joann Ray, age 83 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Ray will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2PM in the chapel of Kenton Church of God with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
She was born February 12, 1940, in Weakley County, TN; the daughter of the late JW & Mary (Harrison) King. She was a beautician and member of Kenton Church of God.
She is survived by daughter, Jennifer Chandler (Jeff); siblings, Shelia Jones, Sherry Wylie, Gail Bogle; and two grandchildren, Peyton Russom, and Hailey Cooper (Cody). She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Ray; and brother, Ray Milton King.
The family will receive friends from 11AM - 2PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Kenton Church of God. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Joann Ray.
