Joann Sims Doss

Ms. JoAnn Sims Doss, age 54 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Ms. Doss will be conducted on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Lowrey officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Trenton.

She was born September 14, 1967 in Dyer; the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence Cox Sims. She was an accountant for Lynn Cole.

She is survived by two children, Robert Doss (Jayce), and Chrissy Burns; three siblings, Dianne Griggs, Carl Sims, and Kenneth Leonard Sims, and two grandchildren, Esdell Ray Burns III and Lillian-Ann Renee Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert H. Doss, and one sister, Catherine Perkins.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM  on Wednesday, October 6th.  Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of JoAnn Sims Doss.
