Mrs. Joann Taylor Dalton, age 92 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mrs. Dalton will be conducted on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee with Bro. Tony Smith officiating.

She was born April 7, 1928, in Rutherford, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Mark and Lenez Barton Taylor. She was a retired office worker at Brown Shoe Company.  She was member of the Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon and treasurer for over 20 years.

Mrs. Dalton is survived by special friends Roger and Renee Worrell; cousins, Kay Carroll Barton Dement (Anthony), Lisa Barton Clark (George), Gene Taylor; her caretaker Sudie Marcus; and a host of children that called her “Jojo”.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Dalton, a special uncle Jack Barton, and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
