Jo Ella Luna October 28, 1919—August 2, 2015 Jo Ella Luna, age 95 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on August 2, 2015, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Jo Ella will be conducted Wednesday, August 5 at Karnes & Son, Rutherford, TN at 12 p.m., in the chapel. Bro. Johnny Criswell will officiate. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery, Yorkville, TN. She was born October 28, 1919, in Finley, TN; the daughter of the late Clarence Moore and Azer Naylor. She was a sewing machine operator at Kellwood in Rutherford and former co-owner, with her husband, of Luna’s Grocery. She is survived by her son, Frank Vince Hardwick; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and, 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husband Charles Luna; three children, Barbara Conn, Heloise Stephens, and Hope Hardwick. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August, 5 until service time. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jo Ella Luna.
