Jimmie Sue Luckey

Mrs. Jimmie Sue Luckey, age 91 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, November 2, 2021, at Dyer Nursing Home. Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Luckey are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

She was born January 28, 1930, in Weakley County, TN; the daughter of the late James Ewens & Mary Magdalene Lamb McClain.   She worked as a seamstress at Martin City Dry Cleaners until her retirement and was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by two children, Gary Hill (Gilda), Cindy Botts, both of Kenton; two grandchildren, Bonnie Hill, Jared Poore (Megan), both of Kenton; and four great grandchildren, Hayden Mercer, Jules Poore, Micah Poore, Aubri Poore, all of Kenton, TN. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Darrell “Bud” Franklin Luckey; parents; first spouse, Marion Hill; son, Steven Lee Hill; and siblings, Terry Thomas McClain, and Virginia Lou Griffin.
