Jerry Tilghman

Mr. Jerry Glen Tilghman, age 80 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, March 19, 2018, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Tilghman will be conducted on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 3:00 pm at North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Tom Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in North Union Cemetery, In Kenton. He was born August 18, 1937 in Kenton, TN; the son of the late Cly Logan and Alice (Carey) Tilghman. He was an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and member of North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served his country with the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Greta Tilghman; two children, Glen Tilghman (Cynthia), and Tina Lynn Tilghman; and one grandson, Seth Logan Tilghman. In leiu of flowers, the family request donations to Alzheimers or Parkinsons Disease research. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Karnes & Son Funeral Home chapel in Rutherford.
