Jerry Robinson

Mr. Jerry Lee Robinson, age 79, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on September 4, 2013, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be conducted on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. John Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Cemetery of Dyer. Mr. Robinson was born July 29, 1934, in Gibson County; the son of the late Leonard Lee and Beatrice Judy Robinson. He retired from Wade Electric Company. He also served his country with the US Air Force from 1954 to 1957. Mr. Robinson was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Robinson is survived by two daughters, Lisa Traverse and husband Duane, Rene Morgan and husband Michael; two grandchildren, Whitney Lauren Reynolds and Jolee Brooke Morgan; and by special friend Laverne Parnell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, Brenda Jo Robinson and a brother, Billy Joe Robinson. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, September 7.
