Jeff Milligan

Mr. Jeff Dodd Milligan, age 81, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on May 7, 2013, at Signature Health Care in Cleveland, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. Milligan will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Rutherford Church of Christ with Roger Utter and Larry Fife officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery of Rutherford, Tennessee. Mr. Milligan was born April 20, 1932, in Gibson County; the son of the late Jeff Dodd and Mattie Lee Yarbrough Milligan, Sr. He worked for the Memphis Police Department for 25 years and was the police chief of Rutherford for nine years. He served his country with the US Air Force. Mr. Milligan is survived by his son, Ricky (Linda) Milligan of Cleveland; three daughters, Judy (Carson) Diane Liebenow of Kenton, Deborah (Tony) Annette Thompson of Tupelo, Mississippi, Teresa (Guy) Ann Keehner of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi; his brother, Ronald E. Milligan of Union City; two sisters, Wilma Joyce Tatum of Sparta, Donna June Berg of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his spouse Wilma Beauton Albrighton Milligan. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 10.
