Janice Faye Cooper

Janice Faye Cooper, age 69 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Cooper will be conducted on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 2PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was born July 15, 1953; the daughter of the late Robert Earl & Ola Faye (Rosson) Duck. She was a homemaker, who loved her family.

Janice is survived by two daughters, Christie Ridenhour (David), Jenny Blitchington (Floyd); stepson, Brian Cooper; three grandchildren, Tyler Ridenhour, Sam Blitchington (Kenz), Cody Blitchington (Bethany); two great-grandsons, soon to arrive, Walker and Joyner; along with relatives & many friends who loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas Cooper; and brother, Robert Earl Duck, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Cody Blitchington, Sam Blitchington, Floyd Blitchington, Tyler Ridenhour, David Ridenhour, and Russell "Timmy" Duck.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Janices' name, to two organizations, St. Jude or Kirkland Cancer Center, listed below.  

The family will receive friends from 5Pm-8PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Janice Faye Cooper.
