James Stratton

Mr. James Edward Stratton, age 74 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on August 16, 2015, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Stratton will be conducted on August 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton. He was born November 14, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee; the son of the late Harold and Clyde Johnson Stratton. He was a retired Appliance Technician for General Electric Co. He served his country with the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Nelda Anne Stratton, one son, David Van Heflin, and daughter, Samantha Shane Stratton, two grandchildren, Tristan Heflin, Michaela Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Stratton and his parents. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015.
