James Jones

Mr. James Robert Jones, age 70, of Bradford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 2, 2015, at Milan General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be conducted on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery of Bradford, Tennessee. Mr. Jones was born January 6, 1945, in Norfolk, Virginia; the son of the late Connie and Gladys Woddard Jones. Mr. Jones retired as a truck driver. Mr. Robert Jones is survived by his spouse of 50 years, Carolyn Ruth Terry Jones; sons, Chris and Brian Jones; grandchildren, Ashley Hess, Chrissy Jones, Hope Brewer, Adam Jones, and Kendellee Jones; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Harold Jones, Lewis Jones, Helen Barger, Larry Pollard, and Alton Pollard. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bradley Jones; grandson, Tony Jones and brother, Donald Pollard. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4.
