Isla Racer

Isla James Racer, infant daughter of Joey and Bailey Racer, joined her maternal grandmother Susan Liddle and paternal grandfather Jimmy Racer in heaven on Sunday, June 23, 2019.  She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family.  Isla was born March 31, 2019 in Charlotte, NC to Joseph Major Racer and Bailey Latham-Liddle Racer.

In addition to her parents Joey and Bailey, Isla is survived by her sister Campbell Ruth Racer; paternal grandmother Re Racer; and maternal grandfather Biff Liddle; great grandparents William and Betty Latham; aunt Courtney Barbour and uncle Lance Barbour; uncle Joe Liddle and aunt Sara Liddle; uncle Jesse Racer and aunt Taylor Racer; as well as cousins Kai Barbour and Wesley Liddle.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, June 28, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg, 12115 University City Blvd., Harrisburg, NC 28075. The funeral service will be on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Jonathan Allen.  Burial will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens at 7632 Hood Rd, in Charlotte.
