Horace Barron

Mr. Horace Wayne Barron, age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on August 23, 2016, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Barron will be conducted on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2:00pm in the Dyer Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. John Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery, in Dyer, Tn. He was born July 15, 1928 in Dyer, Tn.; the son of Homer T. and Delora Glisson Barron. He was a car dealer for Dyer Motor, and then a car dealer at his own business, Horace Barron Motor. Mr. Barron was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church. He served his country with the US Navy. Military honors will be observed. He is survived by two children; son, Royce Wayne Barron and daughter, Marilyn Poremba (Steve). He was preceded in death by his wife, Iona Barron, and two infant sons. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Dyer Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
