Hilda Oliver

Mrs. Hilda Maxine Glisson Oliver, age 91 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away on November 26, 2014 at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral service for Mrs. Oliver will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford, Tennessee. Visitation for Mrs. Oliver will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford. Mrs. Oliver was born December 17, 1922 to the late J.C. and Hettie Peevyhouse Glisson. Mrs. Oliver was a retired employee of the Kellwood Company, and member of the Trenton Church of Christ. Mrs. Oliver is survived by three sons Damon Oliver and wife Marilyn, Lanny Oliver and wife Belinda, Ricky Oliver and wife Deana, and one daughter Teresa Walker and husband Ivan, eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death by her husband, William Alex Oliver, and her son Jerry Wayne Oliver, and one grandson, Joel Oliver.
