Hazel Sanders

Mrs. Hazel Lynn Sanders, age 86 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, September 4, 2017, at Dyer Nursing Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Sanders will be conducted on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 1:00pm at Union Grove Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Perkins officiating. Interment to follow immediately. She was born October 19, 1930 in Troy, TN; the daughter of the late Finis Garrett Finch & Edna Kathleen (Ball) Finch. She was a Food Service Director for Kenton High School, where she retired. She is survived by two children, Finis York Sanders, and Jenny Fox; one sister, Diane Sanderson; two nephews, Bill Sanderson, Jeff Sanderson; and one niece, Sussie Whitehead; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchldren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin York Sanders; and her parents. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Kenton Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
