Mr. Richard Glynn Landrum, age 70 of Bradford, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at his home after a long illness. Funeral services for Mr. Landrum will be conducted on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Salem United Methodist Church in Rutherford, Tennessee with Bro. Jonathan Wheeler and Bro. Jackie Fincher officiating. Interment will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Landrum will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 5-8 pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:30pm.
Mr. Landrum was born February 21, 1952, in Humboldt, Tennessee; the son of the late Johnnie Floyd and Dewrell Featherston Landrum. He was a land owner and 4th generation cattle rancher and farmer. Glynn started farming at a young age along side his Dad. He enjoyed farming and looked forward to spring planting and fall harvest. As a faithful member of Salem UMC for 55 years, Glynn served as Usher, Choir Member, Chairman of the Board and Cemetery Committee. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed vacations in The Smokey Mountains, and often traveled to hear The Finchers sing.
Glynn is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cindy Ledbetter Landrum; son, Travis Landrum (Lawanda); two granddaughters, Kelly Landrum and Ashley Landrum; and brother, Johnny Wade Landrum. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth Guy Landrum.
