Gloria Jean Jones

Mrs. Gloria Jean Jones, age 90 formerly of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Charter Senior Living in Jackson, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be conducted on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 11AM at the Trenton First United Methodist Church in Trenton, Tennessee with Dr. Phillip Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Union Church Cemetery in Osage, Tennessee.

She was born February 26, 1933, in Memphis, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Doyle and Ruby Melton. She was retired as Secretary from the Gibson General Hospital and was a member of the Trenton First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Skiles; son, Tim Jones (Mary Simon Jones); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Jones; son-in-law, Richard Skiles; and her parents.

The family will receive friends from 9AM – 11AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the Trenton First United Methodist Church.
