Glenn Smith

Mr. Glenn Henry Smith, age 68, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away from this life on December 14, 2013, at Methodist University Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be conducted on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery of Mason Hall, Tennessee. Mr. Smith was born February 20, 1945, in Union City, Tennessee; the son of Mrs. Cassie Baker Biggs and the late Henry Smith, Jr. Mr. Smith had a long career as a security guard at the Shelby County Penal Farm. Mr. Glenn Smith is survived by his mother; his sister, Debora Allen; and step-brothers, Rick and Gary Wolf. He was preceded in death by his father. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Glenn Henry Smith.
