Glen Sawyer

November 29th, 1931 - December 12th, 2018 Glen Sawyer age 87 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Sawyer will be conducted on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at 3:00 pm at New Concord Baptist Church with Bro. Rodney Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. He was born November 29th, 1931 in Mason Hall , Tennessee; the son of Perry and Ora (Thompson) Sawyer. He was a maintenance worker at Goodyear Tire Mfg., and a member of New Concord Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Annie Sawyer; children, Rebecca Oliver, Bobby G. Sawyer, Lori Sawyer; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 15th, 2018, at New Concord Baptist Church. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Glen Sawyer.
