Georgia Gladhill

Mrs. Georgia Gladhill, age 94, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away on February 4, 2012, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Gladhill will be conducted on Tuesday, February 7, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Lynn Tharpe officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer. Mrs. Gladhill was born February 14, 1917, in McNairy County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late George and Verdie Jarrgian Teague. She worked in the fitting department of Brown Shoe Company. Mrs. Gladhill is survived by her son-in-law, Connie Comstock and two grandchildren, Jeff (Terrie) Comstock and Amy Comstock. She was preceded in death by her parents and her spouse, Mr. Ben Gladhill. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 6.
