George Sullivan

February 10th, 1935 - February 2nd, 2019 George Willie Sullivan age 83 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019, at Jackson Madison County Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Sullivan will be conducted on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer Chapel with Lynn Tharp officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, in Hollow Rock, TN. He was born February 10th, 1935 in Finley, Tennessee; the son of the late Brewer James and Willie Mae (Turner) Sullivan. He worked in the shipping dept. at Brown Shoe Company. He served his country with the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maxine Fields Sullivan; two children, Stefanie Jame Sullivan and James Sullivan . He was preceded in death by son, Tim Sullivan; two brothers, James Bryant "JB" Sullivan, Bobby Gene Sullivan; and his parents. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of service, on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer Chapel.
