Gary Wayne Glisson

Gary Wayne Glisson, age 58 of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away from this life on  Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Memorial services for Gary Wayne Glisson will be conducted on Friday, July 27 at 7:00 PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.  Karnes & Son Funeral Home are in charge of cremation services.

He was born April 8, 1961 in Humboldt, TN; son of the late Rozzell Glisson,  and Ida Cox Burroughs. He was a mechanic at Alford Tire Company.

He is survived by mother, Ida Cox Burroughs (John); two children, Jaclyn Baker, Jessica Belew (Andrew); siblings, Janice Dunagan, David Glisson; five grandchildren, Anakin Baker, Bella Baker, Conner Baker, Abby Glisson, Sophia Belew; and special friend, Terri Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Maupin Glisson; two brothers, Raymond Glisson, Larry Glisson; and his father.

Visitation with the family of Gary Wayne Glisson will be Friday, July 26, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Dyer. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Gary Wayne Glisson.
