Evelyn Izetta Mayhall

Evelyn Izetta Mayhall, age 96 of Union City, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at The Waters of Union City. Funeral services for Mrs. Mayhall will be conducted on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Kenton with Bro. Charles Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Cemetery, in Kenton.

She was born February 6, 1924; the daughter of the late John Clayborn & Minnie Montgomery Harris.  She was a retired bookkeeper, and member of First Baptist Church in Kenton.

She is survived by three children, Glenda Duke (Noble) of Lexington, TN, Dianne Sisco (Marty) of Union City, TN, Keith Mayhall (Laura) of McKenzie, TN;  siblings, Shirley Clark, Armelia Phelan; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Thomas Mayhall; son, Marty Mayhall;  grandson, Clay Mayhall; and siblings, Sue Jewell, Darrell Harris, and Faye Stringer.

Pallbearers are Jerry Glen Burton, Will Burton, Scott Barnett, Shane Sisco, Will Sisco, and Wes Sisco.  Honorary pallbearer, Clayburn Mayhall (deceased).

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Kenton. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Evelyn Izetta Mayhall.
