Eula Summers

Mrs. Eula Mae Summers, age 86 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Summers will be conducted on Tuesday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Don Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Dyer. She was born June 28, 1927 in Mason Hall, TN; the daughter of the late Marcus Earl and Eva Louise Needham Eddlemon. She was a dental assistant for Dr. David Robinson and a member of Dyer First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Summers; three grandchildren, Melanie Summers Patterson, Johnathan Summers, and Dana Summers Powell; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bobbie Leeper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Adrian “Pete” Summers, and a son, David Summers. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Eula Mae Summers.
