Eleanor Flowers

Mrs. Eleanor Reagor Flowers (Moner), age 87 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday June 25, 2016, with her loving family at her bedside. Funeral services for Mrs. Flowers will be conducted on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Jerry Smith and Bro. Gary Doughten officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery in Rutherford, TN. She was born July 17, 1928 in Rutherford, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Maurice and Floy Abbott Reagor. She worked as a secretary for Karnes and Son Funeral Home and Farmers Seed Company. A devout Christian, she was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as secretary. A loving mother to five children: Janice (Harold) Sims, David (Carolyn) Flowers, Kenneth (Connie) Flowers, Barry (Tammy) Flowers, Lesa (Ronnie) Ross; 10 grandchildren: Melanie (Jimmy) Butler, Michael Sims (Michael Stephen Smith), Marc (Angela) Sims, Jearod (Sylvanna) Flowers, Jonathan (Jessica) Flowers, Christopher Flowers, Jennifer (Tyler) Walls, Benjamin (Joyce) Flowers, Chelsey (Blake) Elliott, Ashton Autry, Rick O’Lee; 16 great grandchildren: Abbie Sims, Olivia, Lauren, Ambere, Lianna, Alexis Flowers, Paislee and Tatum Walls, Ross, Beau and Reid Elliott, Emma Hill, Ty Autry, Elizabeth O’Lee Spencer (Zack), Josh Butler (Amber) and Jacob Butler; and 1 great-great grandchild: Ellie Spencer Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice & Floy Reagor; infant brother, Wayne Reagor; husband, Jearold Flowers; son, David Flowers; daughter, Lesa Ross; daughter-in-law, Lucy Flowers; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Flowers and Norah Elliott.
