Mr. Edward Jay Barber, age 47 of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Barber will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Bickford officiating. He was born June 15, 1970 in Union City, TN; the son of Edward and Carolyn (Davis) Barber. He was a general laborer and asphalt paver for Crown Paving Company. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Barber; one son, Colton Barber; and one grandchild, Jace Barber. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Barber; and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Edward Davis, and Mr. & Mrs. Fred Barber. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Karnes & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
