Edna Cole

Mrs. Edna Faye Williams Cole, age 81, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on April 14, 2014, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Cole will be conducted on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton with Bro. Daryl Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery of Mason Hall, Tennessee. Mrs. Cole was born July 30, 1932, in Obion County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen Cates Williams. She retired from Kellwood Company and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Mrs. Cole is survived by her daughter, Paulette Allen and husband Larry; granddaughters, Mitzi Allen, and Alayna Thompson; great-grandchildren, Ray Gomes, Shea Gomes, and Zach Gomes. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Travis Gene Cole; son, Johnny Gaylen Cole; and sisters, Mae Arnold and Shirley Rogers. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16.
