Edith Mae Flowers

Edith Mae Flowers, age 95 of Union City, Tennessee formerly of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away on February 22, 2020 at the Union City Manor and Rehab in Union City. Funeral services for Mrs. Flowers will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee, with Bro. Ray Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee. 

Mrs. Edith Mae Flowers was born December 9, 1924 to the late Vernon and Betra Gray Flowers. She was a retired employee of Kellwood Company and a Beautician, Jewelry Store Owner, and employee of Brown Shoe Company. Mrs. Flowers was a member of the Point Pleasant Baptist Church, and a member of Order of Eastern Star in Dyer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great - grandmother, and enjoyed living at the "Lake", fishing and working in her flower gardens and her raised bed vegetable garden.

Mrs. Flowers is survived by two sons, Richard Flowers and wife Sylvia, and Randle Flowers and wife Judy; four grandchildren, Brian (Nicci) Flowers, John  (Amy) Flowers, Jason (Rebekah) Flowers, and Lindsey (Eric) Duke; nine great grandchildren,  Taylor Flowers, Ty Flowers, Karissa Flowers, Mason Flowers, Wyatt Flowers, Loren Flowers, Macy Flowers, Chloe Flowers, and Coley Flowers; one sister, Alice King; and two brothers, Joe Flowers, and Mike Flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Flowers; her parents; four brothers, George Flowers, Jimmy Flowers, Vernon Flowers Jr., Bobby Flowers; and two sisters, Margaret Powell, and Evelyn Bradford.

Visitation for Mrs. Flowers will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee.

Family has requested In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to your choice in her memory.
