Eddie Wade Workman

Eddie Wade Workman, age 79 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at home. Funeral services for Mr. Workman will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Salem United Methodist Church with Bro. Mark Earheart officiating. Interment will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.

He was born November 3, 1941 in Dyer, TN; the son of the late Edward Ward & Hazel Maurine Davidson Workman.  He was a heavy equipment operator with James Morris, and member of Salem United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Workman; two children, Demetra Rust (Chuck), Barry Workman (Melissa); brother, Donald Lee Workman (Betty); and two grandchildren, Brice Leach and Jacob Workman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church.  Mask and social distancing are required as mandated by CDC regulations. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Eddie Wade Workman.
