Earl Powers

Mr. Earl Wayne Powers, age 64, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed from this life on April 12, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Union City. Funeral services for Mr. Powers will be conducted on Saturday, April 14, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton with Bro. James Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery of Kenton. Mr. Powers was born November 17, 1947, in Weakley County; the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Shirley Green Powers. He retired as a fork lift operator for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Mr. Powers is survived by two daughters, Penny Powers and Heather Hobbs with spouse, Lee Jay; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jay Lee and Baylee Hobbs and one sister, Bettye Jane Moore and spouse, Charlie. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 13. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Earl Wayne Powers.
