Dorothy Worrell

Mrs. Dorothy Worrell, age 96 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, August 14, 2017, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Worrell will be conducted on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 11:00am at Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jamie Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery, in Trimble, TN. She was born August 25, 1920 in Cool Springs; the daughter of the late Amos and Azzie Toombs. She was retired from Kellwood, and a member of Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Patricia Misemer (Max); three nieces, Teresa Worrell, Brenda Henry, Sherry Dvorak; one nephew, Kenny Worrell; one grandchild, Sondra Lynn Worrell Holtzman; and two great-grandchildren, Austin Holtzman, and Kayla Holtzman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sullivan Worrell; five children, Ruby Worrell, Fay Worrell, Nell Worrell, Carl Worrell, and Ronald Worrell; and her parents. Pallbearers will be Mike Minton, Seigel Jackson, Harold Dunivant, Mickey Robertson, Ellen Alford, Allison Stewart, and Shorty Stanfill. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
