Dorothy Oliver

Mrs. Dorothy Lindsy Landrum Oliver, age 88, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on December 16, 2012, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Oliver will be conducted on Thursday, December 20, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Don Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer. Mrs. Oliver was born February 2, 1924, in Dyer, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Henry David and Mabel Rogers Landrum. She was employed by Brown Shoe Company in Dyer and a housewife. Mrs. Oliver is survived by children, David Eugene Oliver and spouse Lisa, Daniel Edward Oliver and spouse Robin; grandchildren, Nathan Oliver, Matthew Oliver, Casey Oliver, Cory Oliver; and a brother, H. D. Landrum. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, Edward Eugene Oliver, and two sisters, Evelyn Stribling and Margaret Landrum.
