Dorothy Sue "Pepper" Moon May 5th 1936 - September 18th 2018 Dorothy "Pepper" Moon age 82 of Kenton, TN entered Heaven's gates September 18, 2018 at the Dyer Nursing Home surrounded by her family and friends. Dorothy was a joy to meet, because she loved people. She loved serving and singing in her longtime church home, New Concord Baptist Church of Kenton. Dorothy loved flower decorating, her doll collection, and anything pretty that made her world a brighter place. Dorothy never shied away from hard work, and over the years was employed by Bryan Custom Plastics, due to her excellent work ethic and honesty. Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy "Pepper" Moon will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Kenton, with Bro Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Burial will be in the New Concord Church Cemetery. Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 41 yrs, Floyd Moon; three children, Jane Anne Vanzandt, Ginger Gibson Floyd, and Two-Cam McLaren; three brothers; one sister; grandchildren and great grandchildren She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Gibson; her parents; and one brother. Mrs. Dorothy's family would like to also recognize the Dyer Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Dorothy over this past year. The family of Mrs. Moon will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Kenton.
