Dorothy Mae Hurst

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hurst, age 91 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at home. Graveside services for Mrs. Hurst will be conducted on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 1PM in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, in Obion, with Bro. Zack Hurst officiating. Interment to immediately follow. 

She was born September 20, 1933, in Bald Knob, Arkansas; the daughter of the late Elbert & Gladys (Hearst) Crosby. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. 

Mrs. Hurst is survived by four children, Wayne Hurst, Mary Butler, Allen Hurst, Samuel Hurst Jr.; siblings, Jay Kazdeon, Glynn Crosby, Linda Crosby; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Samuel Hurst; and granddaughter, Melissa Hurst.
