Donnie Barnett Sturdivant March 16, 1922 – November 25, 2015 Mr. Donnie Barnett Sturdivant, age 93 of Mason Hall, Tennessee, passed away from this life on November 25, 2015, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Sturdivant will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton with Daryl Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Mason Hall, Tn. Mr. Sturdivant was born March 16, 1922 in Gibson Co.; the son of the late Lattie B. and Ethel Willis Sturdivant. Mr. Sturdivant was a retired Blacksmith. Mr. Sturdivant served his country with the US Army, and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Sturdivant is survived by two sons, Terry Sturdivant and wife Susie, Larry Sturdivant, three grandchildren, Lorie Sturdivant, Mary Beth Casson, Timmy Workman and wife Tabby, two great grandchildren, Weston Casson, Macie Casson. Mr. Sturdivant was preceded in death by his wife Vernelle Sturdivant, one son, Mickey Sturdivant, one sister Hazel Headen. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 on Friday, November 27, 2015 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Kenton.
