Ms. Donna Fay Sims Morris, age 58, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on September 25, 2015, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, Louisiana. Funeral services for Mrs. Morris will be conducted on Tuesday September 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer, with Dr. Charles Timberlake, and Bro. Corey Meggs officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery, Rutherford Tennessee. Ms. Morris was born July 10, 1957 in Jackson, Tennessee; the daughter of the late John Sullivan Sims, and her mother Betty Cavitt Sims survives. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Regional Hospital of Jackson, and member of New Hope Baptist Church. Ms. Morris is survived by one daughter Katie Reid and husband Jonathan, her mother Betty Cavitt Sims, one brother Johnny C Sims and wife Betty, one sister, Wilda Record. She was preceded in death by father John Sullivan Sims. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 29, 2015 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
