Donald Dahlstrom

Mr. Donald Charles Dahlstrom, age 85, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on November 20, 2014, at Dyer Nursing Home. Memorial services for Mr. Dahlstrom will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee, with Bro. David Powell and Bro. Kurt Montooth officiating. Mr. Dahlstrom was born August 9, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois; the son of the late Carl Alfred and Emily Jelinek Dahlstrom. Mr. Dahlstrom retired as an office manager with Goodyear. He was also a veteran. Mr. Dahlstrom is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dahlstrom; children, Scott (Alice) Dahlstrom, Jeff (Stephanie) Dahlstrom, and Vicki (David) Paxton; grandchildren, Collin Dahlstrom, Raven Dahlstrom, Emily (Kurt) Dahlstrom Montooth, Leah Dahlstrom, Jordan Paxton, and Duncan Paxton; also brother, Carl Dahlstrom; nephew, David Dahlstrom; and niece, Christine (Andy) Carlson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosland Dahlstrom. Memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, before service time, in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
