Diann Richardson

Mrs. Virginia Diann Richardson, age 70, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away on December 23rd at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Richardson will be held Saturday, December 27th at 2 pm at Salem United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Richardson will be held from 4 until 8 on Friday at the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home and at the church prior to service time. Mrs. Richardson was born on September 24, 1944 to W.L. and Margie Patrick Jones in Martin, TN. She was a retired Bookkeeper/secretary for the Gibson County Highway Department, a loving mother, mother-in-law, “Nana”, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and treasurer for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and she prepared many meals for her family and church gatherings. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Ralph Richardson; two sons, Randy Richardson and wife Amy of Rutherford, and Anthony Richardson and wife Janet of Alamo; mother, Margie Patrick Jones of Rutherford; grandchildren, Mallory Richardson, Tyler Richardson, Spencer Richardson, Sarah Anderson and husband Jake, Amy Leigh Argo, and Bishop Argo; great-grandchild, Carter Anderson; brother, Bobby Jones and wife Donna; sister-in-law Dean Coleman and husband Jerry.
