Daisy Kindley

Mrs. Daisy Furr Kindley of Harvell Drive, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at River of Life Church, 1945 Old Dale Earnhardt Blvd. in Kannapolis, officiated by the Rev. Brian Rabon, and grandsons, the Rev. Todd Forrest and Pastor Brad Forrest. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens. The family will begin receiving friends at 10 a.m., at the church. Daisy was born April 3, 1932, in Concord, to the late Walter "Babe" Furr and Louise Smith Furr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Parks Kindley. Daisy had been employed at Fun Tees in quality control but worked a total of 47 years in manufacturing. Daisy is survived by daughters, Barbara Forrest and husband, Mike, of Kannapolis, and Jean Hyder of Stamford, Texas; grandchildren, Brad Forrest and wife, Regina, Jonathan Forrest and wife, Angie, Susan Brockman and husband, Tyler, and Todd Forrest and wife, Avery; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
