Corinne Tilghman

Mrs. Corinne Morson Tilghman, age 92, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on June 20, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Tilghman will be conducted on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton. Bro. Dennis Gleek will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery of Kenton. Mrs. Corinne Tilghman was born August 17, 1920, in Decatur, Alabama; the daughter of the late Phill and Corinne Lee Morson. She retired as owner of Phill Morson Industries. Mrs. Tilghman is survived by her daughter, Wilda N. Callan; son, Benjamin Hull Tilghman, Sr.; grandchildren, Todd Tilghman, Carl Rayburn “Skip” Tilghman III, Benjamin Hull “BJ” Tilghman Jr., Christopher Callan, and Jenny Callan Tappin; also by four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Carl Rayburn “Pete” Tilghman, her parents, and son, Carl Rayburn “PT” Tilghman II. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013.
