Cordell Mann

Mr. Cordell Hull “Dell” Mann, age 82 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on January 17, 2016 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. Funeral services for Cordell Mann will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11am in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. John Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery, Dyer, TN. He was born June 24, 1933 in McKenzie, TN; the son of the late Floyd Mann and Flossie Smith. He was a Retired Mechanic and Owner of M & M Garage. He served his country with the US Air Force. Military honors will be observed. He is survived by his wife, Carol Mann; five children, Debra Campbell(William), Dr. Michael Mann(Valerie), Ronald Mann(Linda), Curtis Mann(Stacey) and Claudia O’Connor(Michael); four sisters, Boots White, Mary Ann Cook(Don), Rosie Fisher, Dr. Mattie Mae Childers(Carlos); and two brothers, Brady Mann(Sue), and Allen Henry Mann; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Mann and Flossie Smith The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made to the American Cancer Society. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Cordell Mann.
